• Using the option key with the Scale tool lets you set a specific percentage to scale.
• You can scale proportionately by some percentage, and either keep the same line weights in your path or scale them as well.*
• By clicking in the lower box, you can scale the horizontal and vertical proportions separately, to get an elongated or stretched effect.
• Click OK to transform the path, or click Copy to create a transformed copy of the original.

Keep in mind that if you keep the same line weights and scale down too far, the lines will be out of proportion to the drawing.
Also, scaling the line weights and scaling too far down, if your lines are already thin, may make them too thin to produce correctly on your printer. (A 300 DPI printer's smallest line is approximately 0.25 point.)
